You hit it right on the head. It depends on how you drive. My 83 Bronco was stick with 35" tires and 4" lift kit. I sold it with 90K with the stock clutch.

That is very true. And that will kill a throwout bearing.

My car has 46,000 plus and i don't noticed any slipping or anything.
I have never taken it to the track before but you can bet i'm the first one threw the intersection when the light turns green. I never baby the car, I'm always on it. I guess time will tell..

I have just over 45,000 on mine and it still feels like it's going strong. No slipping as far as I can tell. I do take it to the track about 5-6t times per year.

heck, now that I think about it, the car probably has closer to 200,000 miles on it.
I hear ya.

A bought a 93 Probe new, put 198,800 miles on it over 10 years, and it had the original clutch and was going strong. Had the original brakes as well.

Now that I think about it, the only non-maintainance item I ever changed was one of the spark plug wires...........

Almost 70K on my OEM clutch and still feels as good as new. I've beat on the car a bit so I'm happy that it's lasted this long.
