Roush Hood Scoop Pre-Painted for my 2007 v6 Mustang
I've been looking for some suttle upgrades for my 'stang since it is in storage. One I have been especially looking at is a hood scoop to make it look a little more aggressive. I am thinking about a pre-painted one. I should have no issues with the pre-painted roush scoop not matching my car correct? Also I found some prices on amazon to get one prepainted for 240 bucks which seems like a bargain price. Any opinions on that? It looks like it is from roush through amazon with no 3rd party companies like amazon sometimes uses. Here's a link to one.
Ok, Am i right in thinking this is a really good deal? I mean to get one unpainted is about 160 give or take shipping. this one is 80 bucks more already pre-painted to match. Maybe they are trying to get rid of some of their stock or something...

Are you sure that one is pre-painted? I didn't see that mentioned anywhere. If it is, go for it because you won't find it for that cheap on another website. And if you plan on buying it, I suggest doing it soon, a few months ago the price went up by $30 on most Roush dealer website, who knows when it will happen again.
When I shopped around, the cheapest price I could find was Moss Mustang.

Ha ha I posted the wrong link, don't worry I ordered the right one though. I was looking at the different part numbers on amazon to see how many they had in stock when I posted. The windveil blue is 401799 and here's the link: Amazon.com: Roush Performance 401799 Hood Scoop Kit: Automotive
I wondered about it actually being pre-painted too, but this page says it is in the description whereas the other did not.
"Constructed from ABS plastic with a windveil blue finish"

With that I'm pretty confident that it's all legit, if not I'll just send it back.
It looks like there are only a few left for each paint color so if you guys want a deal or have been looking for a scoop I would consider jumping on this one while it lasts. Just look up what the part number is for the paint color you have on roush's site and use it for a search on amazon I.E. "Roush 401799". That should bring it up, then just confirm it's prepainted.
