Default Where to find chrome trim for 2005 gt grill

I would like to know if anyone knows where to find chrome trim to line the bottom of my gt grill for 2005. something that looks similar to the chrome on the bullitt mustang, but i am not swapping out the grill, just accessorizing.

Some have used chrome colored plastic door edging.

I know myltlpny has done that mod. You might want to give him a PM to ask him what he exactly used.

I did that also, there are pics in my gallery.Any auto parts will have the door trim , probably for under $10.00.The hardest part is removing the grill.Once it is removed use a hair dryer or heat gun to make it more flexible and just push it on.

Here is my initial thread on using chrome door trim to edge the grille:
http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...-6-24-mod.html

The first time, I did it with the grille on the car.
The second time was when I installed the Agent 47 Grille, and it was definitely easier with the grille out of the car.

A number of people have done this mod. It's cheap, easy, and really sets the front of the car off.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

I did the door trim mod over a year ago, just recently redid it as the chrome starting cracking, but for 10 bux no biggie. I got the truck door trim as it's long enough to do 2 grills.
