hey does anyone know if the they changed the name of the dark red color on the stangs. on the paper work for my 06 gt it says redfire but on the ford website the color is dark candy apple and if they did change it do anyone know what year

thats why my 05 hood is ultralight redfire heavy flake, and my scoop is dark candy red...not so heavy flake... same FN paint code, different GD color >< but the darker scoop does look good on the lighter hood....


wait till i get my car reapainted....for needs to reproduce my ultralight heavy flake... the manager said he could... i said teh rear bumper cut out i still have, will tell.

No, the Dark Candy Red, or Sangria Red, paint code JV is a new color for the 2008 and up models. It is a different color than your redfire.

Correct, Candy Apple Red intro'd in 2008, previous was G2 Redfire.
