First off Michael, welcome to the family. When you go that big, with your MAF Meter it's mostly for forced induction. It allows you, to take in more air without pegging your meter and with a stock motor there's no real gains, Mike SCT Tuner

Unless you are FI, there is no reason for you to change the MAF sensor.

Welcome!!

I did the C&L on my 2008. You just change out the existing sensor during the install. Very easy to do. I would do the SCT tuner with it with the change in air the engine should be tuned.

You can get some nice preloaded tunes to the specs of your car through Bamachips along with the C&L setup as a package.

If I had it to do over I go with the C&L. Bamachips does have some good tunes.I have the JLT and it sets to high and rubs agianst the hood liner.

The general consensus on CAIs is to stay away from any CAI that doesn't require a re-tune (such as the K&N and some others), as it is the tune/program that really adds the most horsepower. Although there are others (such as Steeda and FRPP), most generally recommend either a JLT or C&L cold air intake (to increase the size of the MAF sensor) and an SCT xCal3 programmer (to reprogram your GT's onboard computer to adjust the air/fuel ratio and spark advance to the larger intake air volume from the CAI).
