Can I tow my 2005 Mustang automatic with a tow bar. I have recently read on the Roadmaster site that they have a tow bar to fit this model and year of mustang, but I have heard and read conflicting reports.

I am almost positive it is recommended to remove the driveshaft if it is being towed with the rear wheels on the ground. Chech your owner's manual, it will have the exact answer you are looking for.

Definitely want to disconnect the d/s.

The trany will run dry if the car is not running , Diconnect the drive shaft , But get a plug to stick in the end so it will not drip ATF out
