I installed the MGW Short throw shifter and i bought the adjustable stop kit with it extra. I was planning on installing it, but while i was watching the instructional video, it said "to install the adjustable stop kit (not recommended by MGW)... Why do they not recommend it if i bought it from their site? Do you think i should install it or just leave my shifter how it is? Is it really needed that much?

They are not recommending them since the Tremec 3650 (your transmission) has internal stops built into it. So the stop kit you purchased is not necessary. Stop kits are used on pre 05 stangs since their trannies are different. I would see about getting my money back on the stop kit.

The T3650 uses a remote shifter. Shift stops are for shifters that attach directly to the transmission...

Oh thanks guys... it was only $10 but im still going to try to get my money back..
