2006 Mustang Conv. Hissing? I am about to buy my first Mustang which is 2006 Mustang Conv v6. I test drove the car and it runs good, however when the engine get shut off there is a hissing sound coming from somewhere at the back of the engine. Almost sounds like an intake leak or vacuum leak. When the engine is running there is no hissing The hissing stops after about 1 minute once the engine is shut off. Is this normal for a Mustang? Should i look elsewhere? Any help would be appreciated . TIA

It's just the a/c compressor making that sound. Normal.

Yep. Especially if it was hot and running for awhile.

If it continues with the A/C off then I would suspect a vacuum leak somewhere. But I'll put money on the A/C.
