I asked this question in someone else's post, but I didn't get an answer, so I'm making my own post in hopes someone can help.
On my 2006 GT, I replaced all four rotors with Power Slot Rotors and replaced the stock brake pads with Hawk HPS Performance Pads. I also installed a set of MGP Caliper Covers (had to install
Motorsports 1/8 " front and 1/4 " back wheel spacers for clearance). FYI, I couldn't go the route of bigger brakes (Brembo, etc) because I have 18" deep dish bullets.
My question is; I test drove it last night and I can hear a little bit of a scrubing sound. Is that normal until the brake pads and rotors set in? I'm pretty confident that I put everything back together correctly and all bolts are tight. I would appreciate anyone's feedback.....
