I'm running 255/35/20's on a 20" x 8.5" rim. I think that some with a 8.5" rim may run a wider rear tire - those with 9" or 9.5" rims also probably run a wider tire. I have some pics of my car (lowered) in my profile. Good luck!

Lower it and run a staggered setup, really killer look! I'm running a 255/40/20 up front and a 275/40/20 in the rear.

no rubbing, try the eibach pro kit. the amount of drop is your preference.

you do have to run new springs to lower your car. i guess you could always just cut a single coil out of your stock springs but i definitely dont recommend that. just so you know tho if you lower you will more than likely experience some camber problems and may need to buy some camber bolts and plates with the springs. dont just buy springs itll change the whole geometry of your suspension. theres a whole thread on this somewhere its very recent you should read it. but 20's look awesome with a lowered car or not and staggered is the way to go

I'm running 245/55/20 front and 275/40/20 rear. Stock height, though, and I get a little rub on the rear tires if I turn sharply from a stand still. Also, the few times I have had 3 people in my car, I do get some rubbing in the back if I hit a bad enough bump. Next time I need tires, I'm going to try 285/35/20 out back.

No big deal, at all, though. My tires are not cut up, the lip of my fender well is still intact, and the rubbing issues are very minor.

got some pics in my profile of it lowered too...go as beefy as you can b/c my 20s and eibachs are really rough. gets almost annoying on long trips. my eibachs dropped me 1.5 all around. IMO 20s opn a lowered stang look the best
