Someone else posted up some pictures of a Mustang that was a mix of an s197 and a mid-sixties Mustang. Well, at the Pony Round-Up last weekend, I stumbled upon this. It's definitely roughly built and the paint seemed cheap. Parts didn't match up and it sounded a little "sick" when he started it up. But, in the end, I think it's an interesting idea. This is a "Hybrid" Mustang of a '96, '65 and small hints of an '05. I can tell that the guy has many, many hours in it and I really respect that. He said that he went through 6 fenders before he got it just right, which shows admirable determination (or failure to just get it right the first time, but it's open to interpretation). He was a nice older guy and I was glad to see how proud he was of his hybrid. What do you all think?
Also, see a 360 walk-around of this car in my FMC Video, at about 7:50.

I actually like that one a lot better than the s197 "hybrid" that was shown on here in another thread. This looks more authentic.
I agree that it looks better and things seem more "right", but the s197 was definitely a better build. I believe that two of them were built (one on a GT500) and they were sold at Barrett-Jackson.

What part of it supposed to be S197? I see the '96 pretty obviously in the interior and the windshield shape. But just not seeing the S197 anywhere
That's just what I was thinking. That's not an S197, but an SN95. Either way, you have to respect the ability to combine two cars like that.
