Well after almost 2 weeks of contemplating, I finally went ahead and bought the Shelby aluminum quarter window covers. More or less the theme of my car is black and aluminum, but I'm not quite sure if these look good or are cheesy. I've gotten mixed reviews from a few people and just wonder what you guys think of them cuz I'm still on the fence. Thanx for the feedback guys!

I think they could look nice. Do they match the gas cover? Becuase it looks like they are a little off, although it could be the picture. I think if you had the gas cover, windows covers and wheels all matching it would look great. And maybe throw in a billet grill to match all the others. But overall, I think it looks alright.
I really am a firm believer that these cars are truly a reflection of each individuals taste... there are many, many mods I see - that I wouldn't personally do to my car, but they look fantastic on others. I am not a fan of judging others cars because they are a direct extension of that person and their sense of "style"... when it comes down to it - it doesn't matter what others feel... leave them on for a while, see how you feel about them in a month... if you don't dig 'em, post them in our classifieds.

IMO, it is distracting(for lack of a better word) I understand the Aluminum theme, and I like the aluminum pieces here and there, but it is too large a piece, it really jumps out at you. Takes something away from the rest of the car. Good luck

I was gonna suggest you get rivets engraved in them to match the gas cap, then I looked them up, and I now see they have rivets. Hard to tell in the pics though, maybe they look much better in person.

Tons of thanx everyone for the honest opinions, again, why I love this site. I'm beginning to think that I just might have to chalk this one up to a $115 "learn the hard way" mod. It was tough when I was thinking of getting them cuz I couldn't find ANY pics of anyone elses rides with them on. Oh well, and the modding continues.....

A little on the distracting side, but to each their own. That's the beauty of customization.
Saleen S/C 3.2 pulley tuned by JDM Engineering, GT500 pumps, CHE goodies on the rear, 4.10's, KOOKS/ high flow catted X pipe with PYPES Violators, Spydershaft, TCI 3500 stall, PA deep tranny pan. Meziere w/p,M&H 325/45/17 DRs.
future mods.... a 3.0 pulley

Not sure if I can get them off without damaging them. There were probably 15 pieces of super strong 3M tape on the back of each one!!! The edges of the aluminum are kinda rolled so they fit over the window really good, pretty sure not coming off unless for good.

A little fishing line behind them and you'll cut right through that tape.
