It was a birthday weekend for me Yup...The big 36. My birthday is a holiday to me, and as some of you may know, I try to embrace every holiday as a reason to buy more mods. The wife knows my sickness and understands that some holidays warrant bigger mods than others. Christmas and birthdays are big for Ms. Betty, as Columbus and Presidents day might just be a can of Seafoam.
About a month ago I printed out my vendor shopping cart list, and placed it in her purse...A common practice of mine. It was hard for the wife to compete with last year, as she hooked me up with the wheels and tires . I had the CDC classic chin and my Shaker hood installed before the recent gear problem, so I didnt want to be too greedy The list consisted of a few goodies...

Midwest Shock tower covers (with GT logo)
Agent 47 side mirrors
FRPP Hood pins
We went to my favorite Italian resturant with the kids and my parents, and when I returned from the bathroom I discovered a confirmation email of her purchase (common practice of the wife). She hooked me up with everything but the mirrors. She figured since the gear install was costly, we would wait for the mirrors. Its good to have someone in the family with some reason. So needless to say... Another great birthday
OMG talk about spoiled!!!!! lol jk jk nice job dude now maybe if you can just get a confirmation order for a KB supercharger that would be a nice birthday and christmas present for the next 3 years lol

LOL...Oh she knows I am, but I work a ton of overtime to be able to support my desires. If I didnt show her the money, then she wouldnt show me the confirmation emails

Yes it was...The best gift at that dinner table was a stack of baseball cards my son bought with his Nana at a garage sale for 50 cents. He packaged them in a large jewelry box he also got at the garage sale. He was so excited to give it to me...It was so cute
So i am guessing that the motives got too loud huh? The 4:10's seem to get a to of gear whine. I mean i know it all depends on the install, but the 4:10's seem to be extra problematic.
Congrats on the new mods though. How are you liking the Hot Rod cams? I am looking forward to getting a pair myself, i just need to know what else to buy aside from the cams themselves. And a few guys told me to PnP the heads while i was having the engine worked on.

My motive gears were good to go until a bad install on the DS caused too much movement, and damaged my gears. My car has been sitting, waiting for these gears...So I havent had a chance to enjoy the cams yet. Its best to do the heads when doing cams, but money was an issue for me.
