Default 2006 Mustang GT - Cervini 2.5 Cowl Hood

I currently have a Seibon 2.5 inch Carbon Fiber (unpainted) hood and was looking to change things up a bit.

I am interested in the Cervini 2.5 cowl hood - $495.00 and they have an option to get it painted for $349.00. So...the total would be $844.00 (roughly what I had paid for my Seibon hood).

https://www.cervinis.com/large.aspx?img=1247_1_big.png

I also took a look at Cervini's 4 inch cowl hood...but I think that 4 inches would be way to much.

Does anyone have any experience with Cervini's fit and/or fit/finish of thier hoods? Any pics? Also, any idea what hood pins I could use with this hood?

Thanks.

You do know that for 349.00 you only get the top of the hood painted. If you want the bottom side painted it's 550.00

Cervini's is one of the best but a good paint and prep on a hood is closer to 600.00 remember you will get exactly what you paid for.

I think I'm going to get the 2.5 cowl from Cervinis...with the top and bottom painted...so I'm looking at $1,044.

In my last conversation with Cervinis I commented that for this price the hood had to be perfect - they assured me it would be.

One last check - can anyone offer any insight as to the quality of Cervinis?

Also, I was told by Cervinis that if my factory hood does not dance (at high speed) their hood would also not dance and I would not need hood pins...any thoughts on this?

Thanks!
