Default what would you do?

So i'm looking at improving the acceleration on my 2008 GT. I'm lookin at adding 4.10's a CAI and tune. If you were looking to make someone in the passenger say "holy Sh** thats fast", what mods would you do for under 2,000?

Put about 60psi in the rear tires. It will spin them and the car will go sideways for blocks.

Or you could give me the money and I will give them a ride in my car.

Get the tuner, Cold air intake ( one you MUST TUNE FOR), you will love 4.10's, under drives pulleys OK ( I would pop for a short shifter), the drive shaft is my next goodie.

Skip the headers and any thing in front of the cats at this level UNLESS YOU LIKE THE SOUND OF A CERTAIN SET. Stock pipes and heads have good enough flow. If you want sound, save the money and go axel back.

And work you rear suspension up AT LEAST A SET OF LCA'S...

Then get some OFF bug spray, cause that mod-bug is gonna chew you up.

The K-member brace is mounted to the front lower A arms and to the bellhousing. It basiclly hold the engine and trans from moving around as much. and helps with shifting.

The LCAs really does make a big differences in launches. No wheel hopping

Now as you take out the soft bushing that Ford uses you will get some additional NVH. Not a lot but it will be a little louder.

Free mod => Take someone for a ride at or near sea level(when the ambient temperature is cool and humidity level is low).

You're on the right track with the intake, tune and gears.

put the nitrous and 4.10's in there, turn and say "Ready for boost juice!?". You get the speed, and the psychological thing most people have about bottle fed cars
