Default Fact or fiction???

Seen a nice mustang yesterday so I pulled over to chat. Knew it wasn't from in town, wanted to see what he had done to it and so on. So its a 2005 GT manual trans red with white stripes, has the big oval CAI(right infront of throttle body)/ram air and a diablosport tuner, shorties and cat back. He tells me he had it dynoed and says it runs 350 at the flywheel and 325 at the wheels. Does anyone believe this???

Sounds like the WMS CAI. In case you were wondering.

350 at the crank sounds about right. with the WMS intake, shorties, catback and diablo tune. but 325 to the wheels is wrong. more like 290-300rwhp, all cars are different and depends on what type of dyno or STD or SAE.

350 at the crank equates to about 308 to the wheels with a stick and 297 with an auto.

I would be suprized if he had 350hp to anywhere. I would beleive 330 @ the crank. No chance of 325 @ the wheels. Then again.....you did say he had racing stripes..hhhmm. How many ponies do stripes make at the wheel? White ones of course.

That calculator is factoring a lot more than 12 & 15% drivetrain loss.
