I was thinking about buying one of the following Ford Racing Cold Air Intakes:

If I take it to a Ford dealership can they calibrate my car to work with these official parts? I understand if a fee is included, I just really don't want to shell out 400 bucks for a tuner.

You don't have to let Ford do it. You just have to do it if you want to keep your factory warranty. All they do is flash your PCM, you don't get a tuner.

You don't need to shell out $400.00, there's always eBay and I see them on there for cheap money all the time. Just make sure that the tuner, is unlocked and an X Cal-2 9400 series, not the SF-2. Or the X3, not XF-3 any tuner with the letter F in the number by SCT is a canned tune, Mike. SCT Tuner.

go with the Airaid CAI, at www.airaidsales.com it puts out 17-18 horses compared to the ford racing CAI which is 15-16 horses.
