Since you have the Shelby take a look at my wheel setup for my car. The Shelby razors are a beautiful wheel in my opinon. Would look great with the black car you have.
i agree theyre good looking rims if you want u can maybe get an early dib on my buddy's theyre the gunmetal 20" razors i dont know when hes gonna get rid of them but u can ask him if ur interested his name is BlueSteelGT he's on my friends list. however if youre looking to go for power and track or what not these are pretty damn heavy wheels and id suggest 18" rims with at least a 10" width in the back. maybe some 305 R compound tires to go with it but id look into cams if i were you. and since youve got a ton of ford racing stuff you might wanna stick with teh ford performance things and look at the FRPP Hot Rod cams. theyre not super performance tuned from what ive heard theyre more for sound and are more driveable on streets than other high end cams but youd have to do the research urself on that to find what exactly it is you want. good luck though and sick car
What is your exhaust set up? Have you considered longtubes? More power and better sound. If s/c isn't in your plans, you could do other bolt ons like pullies. Maybe even bigger gears.

i was thinking about gears but didnt know if i wanted 3.73 or 4.10, and if i got cams would i need anything else with them? Also the longtubes would need a new x-pipe right? So would it be better to just get shortie headers?
Shorty headers aren't much of an upgrade over the stock manifolds.
+1 on that if ur going with headers do the long tubes dont waste ur money on shorties, unless of course u live in CA and cant get LTs..... then every little bit helps. i think it depends on ur xpipe, i think the slp x pipe can be compatable because the down pipes are seperate from teh actual X. or at least thats what i recall when i helped install my buddies X lol

That is true. An SLP X pipe is modular. It'll fit the stock manifolds as well as SLP long tubes.
well i have a ford racing x-pipe so i would need a new catted x-pipe also if i get longtubes corect? And what brand longtubes you guys recomend?
Ideally, yes or you'd have to do some fabricating to make it fit. Kooks, MAC, BBK, American Racing, Stainless Works, JBA and SLP are the most popular. MACs have the best gains but Kooks are about the top of the line quality-wise.
What about lower control arms? Don't the the Shelby's use the same lower control arms as the stock Mustang GT? Lower controls arms are an excellent suspension upgrade.
You may need adjustables since your suspension is lowered (have to be sure of the pinion angle), or fixed lower control arms and an adjustable upper.
You could also look into light weight wheels. The lightest 18 inch wheel Ford makes is 25 or 26 lbs. I think Axis makes some forged 18x8.5 wheels that are about $400 each and weigh 16 lbs each. (My OZ wheels are a little heavier, since they're cast.)
Losing about 40 lbs of rotating weight would make a big difference in the way the car accelerates and handles.

not to hijack the thread but does anyone make 18x10's or a little wider that aree also light weight without getting into several hundred dollars per rim?? the lower control arms are a great idea too. you could always save up a little for a full on suspension from maximum motorsports or Griggs
check out my profile i got the cs40 wheels also check out shelbyperformanceparts.com and check out all the wheels... b4 i did the s/c i got a SCT tuner and a steeda CAI.. the one in yours now doesnt do much.. then go exhaust.. JBA or SLP headers back if you do all that youll have 300rwhp.. all of it together mayb like 2k mayb less depending how much theyll charge for installtion.. i honestly wouldnt touch anything in the motor like cams or heads or anything unless u were going to put in a blower... thats just my opinion though.. you cud get an underdrive pulley tho that may help out with 10 HP.. i think steeda makes the best one

I have a Shelby Gt with Ford Racing 90-millimeter cold-air intake, Ford racing X-pipe, 3.55 gears, and ford racing handling pack. I have no idea where i should go from here. What do you all think would be the smartest things to add next?
Good tires
Upper and lower control arms
Adjustable panhard rod
Shifter
Move battery to trunk
