2005 Mustang GT-4:10's installed and still only run 13.7's to 13.9's
It definately feels much MUCH quicker, but my 1/4 time is till the same?
what time should I be running?
I have
C&L intake
Diabolosport predator 91 octane and dynotuned.
SLP loudmouths
and just installed 4:10's but not re-dynoed yet.
What is wrong? It has an automatic tranny. times are consistent.
Final time and trap speed is just the same as before.
I am totally confused.

4:10's installed now but now new numbers.
Right now HEAT plays a big part in your times, I bet the same times before the gears was run in cooler weather.

nope....last summer heat vs this summer heat. still the same 1/4 mile time & same trap speed..I don't get it!!!
Should I change my shift points and presuures?
what will will help.
It pulls strong, I'm not spinning my tires. WTF?

I too can say the same, i have not raced it yet after i put my 3.73s in, but since its soo hot out, the car runs pretty slow- when it was colder out it hauled.. It seems a bit sluggish nowdays, the true test is when its cooler again- we are having days anywhere from 95-105degrees..
I sure hope its just the weather bro, i would be pretty sad after all that lol..

There are a few things that should be taken into consideration. Weight, temperature, driver error, etc. Also, 4.10's will not give you any extra horsepower. How long have you had the gears? Maybe you are just not used to them yet if you've only had them for a little while.

Smart GIRL she is right . The heat as mentioned is a stopper. LET The car cool down before you run it and watch how that helps. Kenneth once told me to wait untill that last run available , because the air is cooler. I have had some great runs in the summer right before they close the track.

My stick shift car pulled 13.3s in cool weather with similar mods. Look into the tune perhaps but the hot weather could just be holding you back. These cars are really hate heat.

A new dyno tune isn't going to do anything.

i would invest in some DR tires and see if that helps. You can make all the power in the world but without traction you aren't going anywhere in a hurry

+1 a friend of mine ran 14.5 without slicks and 14.1 with slicks in his 95 GT.

I am looking at your RWHP. With a CAI, delete plates X pipe and SCT tune I got 299 RWHP, around 40 more than you are getting with bassically the same deal except mine is a stick.
Cooler weather does make a huge difference with these engines. Hot weather seems to suck the HP out of them.
