Catback replaces the over axle pipes, axleback just replaces the actual muffler itself.

Axel back is only the mufflers. Cat back is from the cats back. X or H pipe + over axel pipes + mufflers.

OOPS. My bad. X/H pipe is part of the cat pipe. I was thinking long tubes.

Thanks alot thats what I figured. I just put ford racing dual exhaust on my car so in the future can I put any mufflers I want on or do they have to be a certain brand or size? I might switch to flowmaster mufflers in the future can I do this on the ford kit that I put on today and just replace the mufflers?

I think all you need to do is make sure the new mufflers have the same size diameter as your over-axel pipes.

Yeah, you can still switch the exhaust, I've done it several times. Although I believe the FRPP exhaust are MUCH better then Flowmasters.
