Roush Front Fascia, Black Billet Foglight Delete Grille, Aluminum Dash Kit, + more!
This took so long to finally happen! But it was sure worth the wait.
About 6 weeks ago, I was over at a friend's house & I had driven my Stang. I parked in his driveway, which is a slant (where he told me to park). His mom comes in about an hour later & basically tells me she backed into my car. It wasn't TERRIBLE, but there was a nice square punched in the bumper from a trailer hitch!
Anyhow, I went & got some quotes in the $1100-1300 range for repair with the STOCK GT BUMPER! I priced out a painted Roush bumper & figured I could do the labor myself & save my friend's mom some money.
www.CBFRacing.com offers the Roush Fascia w/ foglights for $465! Paint is another $250. I ordered the fascia from them. The fascia reuses the mounting brackets for the corner lights in the stock bumper. It's also about 4/5ths of an inch lower & extends maybe 4 inches further out than stock.
I also decided my stock grille needed to go. I wanted a black billet grille, but the Roush 9-bar and the CDC were over $300 and I didn't want to spend that much. I found a black billet foglight delete grille on MrBodykit.com USA AND*CANADA'S LARGEST MUSTANG SUPPLY STORE 1866-610-2376 for $155 shipped. I would've rather got the StackRacing from AmericanMuscle, but they were out of stock.
Install took FOREVER. If I could do it again it would take half the time. Total time, including the grille... Maybe 10-12 hours. I learned a lot in this install... Especially about rivets.
The pedals are CDC ($75 new) which I got new off ebaY for $26.50 BRAND NEW! Look around for those deals! These were a PITA to install. But look awesome!
Anyways, here are the pics!

CDC Aluminum Automatic Pedals:
Roush Front Fascia w/ Foglights & Black Billet Foglight Delete Grille:
I mounted my stock tinted OEM fog lights behind the black billet grille. Turned out pretty slick!
Wow, thats a lot of pics!
Anyways... I think I'm gonna be done with visuals for a little while. Unless of course CruizinConcepts would like to sponsor me & send me some 20" Black Saleen 7 Spoke rims...
Bring on the performance mods!

I love that facia,it is my favorite and probably my next visual mod. Your car is looking really nice. The roush hood scoop would make it all come together nicely. They are not a lot of cash either. Also some side window louvers and there you go. Great job bud.
How bad was it to get the other OEM cover off? What was entailed in getting the new one on?

Yeah, I know she needs to be lowered. I need to plan this out though. After mufflers & CAI + tune, then I think I'll lower her. I need more $$$ lol .

Thanks Billy! I considered the Roush hood scoop but I think I'm eventually going to just replace the entire hood with a 2" Cowl Heat Extractor hood. Maybe make it a little more unique. As far as side louvers, I'm planning on SHR Flush mounted louvers. I can get those for $210 painted so maybe I'll do those before I lower it.
As far as removal of the OEM cover, it was pretty straightforward. The first time I took it off it took maybe... 1.5 hours. This second time around, maybe only 30 minutes. You just have a bunch of bolts to undo (maybe... 18 total). Nothing to crazy. Take off the radiator cover, unscrew 2 10mm bolts, unscrew 4 (I think) 7mm bolts from the OEM close out panel. You remove the "wheel wells" from the drv. and pass. sides & uncrew some 10mm bolts. Then it pretty much lifts off.
I did this whole installation with my car on the ground, no jack, no power tools, with wheels still on (PITA for wiring). If one had access to a lift/jackstands and power tools, this could've gone a little quicker.
The biggest difference in installing the Roush was putting the "close-out panel" which bridges the gap between the OEM "close-out panel" and the new further out Roush fascia.
Roush includes excellent instructions with this kit. There were a few gray areas, but I managed to figure everything out. YOU NEED A RIVET GUN lol

I actually don't think I'm going to put the chin spoiler on it (at least for a while). It costs something ridiculous ~ like $250 more ~ and I'm pretty happy with how it looks now. Plus this is more unique... I've seen maybe 2 other Stangs on the internet without the chin spoiler!

You have to remove the brackets from your OEM bumper that mount the corner turn signals. Once you remove them you have to remount them in the Roush bumper. It's not to hard, but the instructions left out the fact you needed a rivet gun (& of course I didn't have one... ).
