That certainly would change the sound. Plus... No long tubes!

GTRonn,
That vid was with NO cats & an O/R H-pipe.
Bit too much for my DD.
Best way I can describe it would be a cross between a Harley & a Nascar car, loud & you could hear every cylinder firing.
The mid-mufflers lasted about 1 week after the LT install.
Here is a vid of my current setup when I had Brenspeed do a dyno tune for me;

I do see mostly positive comments about the sound of pypes mid muffler; however, I have seen a few negatives. On another forum a member replaced his pypes mid muffler with Bassani race axlebacks. He said the pypes sound like Kmart mufflers compared to the bassani axlebacks.

I've been running them for a year now, no issues at all, sweet sound (1960ish) low rumble and "NO" drone whats so ever...........as a matter of fact at 60-80mph you wouldn't even know there mid-pipes other than the awesome sound (very low at those speeds). I'm also running headers and H pipe set up. Now when you do "light" them up expect a "very" load sound.............pure sex !!!
