Nice ride, man...
I have a Vortech, but I haven't heard anything bad about either. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but I guess sometimes it comes down to personal brand preference.

You're gonna run out of room for guages soon...

Both are very good and with a good tune are safe if you keep it below 10psi. I run an intercooled Vortech V2 Si and have been very satisfied.

as stlwagon said, both are safe if you run them below 10psi. neither is really safer than the other if that's what you're asking.

Yes...keep the boost under 10 or 11 psi and you wont have to worry about hurting any part of your engine

the saleen's twin screw design will give you better off the line performance. The vortech will have better top end. The Saleen IMO looks a lot cooler

This is the reason why I would go for the Saleen SC. This is my setup.Look at the tq @ 2500 rpm's around 360 ft lbs torque. That's seat of the pants grunt power almost instantly. And look at the HP still climbing stop at 442 hp stopped because I ran out of fuel pump and the a/f ratio was going lean. Also notice 8.6 lbs boost that was on a 3.6 pulley. Dyno's on a Mustang Dyno which from what I am told are the most accurate and real world numbers. Turbo not going to give you that lowend numbers.
I love my Saleen. Very streetable. Stay out of WOT and and no boost but still a fun car to drive.

Actually a turbo is going to give a boatload more torque.
