TO me yes its worth the extra 12HP. But the tune would prob be a emailed tune. If thats possible with the FRPP TB.

I have seen some N/A cars dynoed with the FFRP T/B and they only got about 4 HP out of it. To get the most out of it I believe you need some head work and delete plates. Where they seem to get the best HP increase is with S/C cars. I heard there are some new T/B's comming out that will work better on N/A cars.

+1, but I've seen just 4 HP on a head/cam car.

Im stuck on weather i should go with 15" JEG Sport-Stars with skinnys on the front and MT on the rear for the 1/4mile, or go for the FRPP TB with other bolt ons.

It be nice if they made a single port TB.

IMO, definitely get the JEG's 15'' sport stars/M/T skinnies/M/T rears. That will mean less rotational weight, resulting in a better 1/4 mile time. You might be able to pull 12.1-12.0 or even high 11's with that wheel/tire setup.

well that would deff make me a very happy person. My first time to the track this year after the head/cam i didnt run so good but my MPH was there at 110. So im guessing thats a low 12 rite there. I just gotta get a few more passes down and learn the car now.

Not many people are in the 11's N/A currently, so it would be an impressive feat. With that power and wheel/tire setup and good driving, I can see 11.9-11.8 possible. I'm estimating conservatively because it seems to take so much to get there. I know of 6 N/A guys in the 12.0-12.1 range!!

I think its possible as well. Buts thats stetching it with a full weight car. My best time last winter was 12.09,last weekend had a 12.19 With the help of the new C&L manifold thats coming out ,I hope thats enough to help get me in the 11,s at 3700 + lbs. this winter.
I'll let you know.

What were your speeds for the 12.19 and the 12.09. And hopefuly the C&L Intake Manifold will help you brake into the 11s! thatd be real nice.

Good goal, I think low 12's are very achievable.
