Default Bamachips apology

This was posted on another site. Doug himself gives and apology and some incite on why the customer service has been lacking at bamachips.

Wow thhat's really unfortunate for Doug. Divorce/Custody battles can take years out of a man's life. It's also a strain on any man's work, not to mention the overall economy. Those of you fortunate enough to have a woman to stand by you should not take this for granted(a rare thing these days). Even though I have experienced poor customer service with Bamachips too, I do not question that the man bleeds Ford blue. I would definitely look for him to come charging out of the gate after this one.

I talked to Doug by email a few days ago. He seems to have things back together really well considering what he's been through. He's a great guy and I'd use him over any other shop just because of the kind of person he is.

wow, i figured something was up with Doug. He is a stand-up guy who i have always held in high respect. Breast cancer is a tough thing, i know exactly what he feels because like him my mother battled breast cancer and is now healthy again but its always on my mind since it occurs 6 times more frequently in people who have had it already.

My hopes and prayers are out for Doug and i wished that i lived closer and could help him out with some of his issues and lend him a hand when he needed it. I know he isn't on this forum but Doug if you read this, you let me know if you ever need a guy and i'll do the best i can

So often, the man is breaking his back with work responsibilities and problems that only he understands.

Instead of complaining, he does what it takes to make things work and earn a living, but he gets labeled the bad guy by his wife or gf.

The last thing a guy needs is an unsupportive partner.

If you have a good one, count yourself lucky.

Doug is tops in my book.

Well that certainly explains it all. Takes a real man to post that on a public forum!

I can say that I myself have apologized to Bamachips for being a bit hard on Matt and calling him some choice adjectives. It takes a stand up guy to admit when he is wrong. The thing is to learn from it ,and not continue doing the same thing ,over and over. I have always had the utmost respect for Doug at Bamachips. He is a good person. I wonder if Matt not being there anymore has anything to do with it?

hopefully everything get's on track asap with Doug and his business and just life... I have his tune and its nothing shy of great.

What is it with women when they don't get "there time/attention".... wow.... i mean where is the support....i bet she didn't have a problem when he brought home the money to pay for the mortgage from all long hard working hours and now she probably wants half.... wow.

God knows how some people actually make have "happy marriages"... i never witnessed one in my whole life.

No car or job is worth trading your marriage and family. If you need to spend some more time at home instead of the shop, your family should come first.

She gave birth to his son and put up with him putting his business, customers, and cars over her and their son. I think she easily deserves half or at least enough support to raise their son comfortably.

I don't know this guy personally, so I'm really not one to comment on his choices as a man and the leader of his family, but I have a hard time respecting anyone who trades their family for a business opportunity. I avoided getting married for that exact reason and now that my career is established, I'd give it all away just to have a wife and a family now.

Do you expect the man to neglect his job, go out of business, and not be able to support his family at all ? Get a clue.

No Doubt Kurgan,I think there is more to this about needing more. I know Doug is a good person and was only tring to better his familes life. She need more, just what kind of more? Usally means another face or person. It take a lot of commitment to make a marriage work, god I know. I would not want to be a free agent now days. It is a jungle out there.

TheKurgan knows how it is.

Not that many people out there with Doug's ability and intensity.

He did what he knew best to make a living and support his family. I'm sure he had all kinds of work issues to address.

The last thing he needed was a wife to give him added stress on top of all the long hours and problems he already was dealing with. That is a complete an utter lack of appreciation on the wife's part.

Doug is not a whiner. I'm sure he didn't bring his work problems home to ***** and moan about.

So often there is a wife or gf criticizing and going, "Me me me!" They need to get a clue. Their man is busting his @zz taking care of them already. He knows what it takes to survive. Show some appreciation and cut him some slack. Don't lay into him after he already spent 12 hours working and stressing just so you can have a house to live in, food on the table, and clothes for the kids. Don't even talk about our messed up economy right now.

I wish I had 10 more Mustangs so I can buy more stuff from Doug.
