I was just at a Camaro Forum. They have the top 20 runs by bone stock members. They have 3 in the 12s. Ive never heard of a bone stock S197 running 12s. Granted the last 10 of the top 20 were all times a CAI and tuned stang can run the cars potential for big power is awesome. Whipple has a 2.9 kit that makes 519 to the wheels and 500ft/lbs! I love Stangs but those numbers speak for themselves and my ego wont be hurt when a modded one beats me. Imagine if GM actually designed a chasis just for the Camaro that wasnt a fat pig.

Another thing is the Camaro has a better weight distribution which helps it to get grip with any jolt of the pedal. The Mustang on the other hand wants to break em loose or at least chirp the tires.

Theres a reason why when MotorTrend tested the GT500 vs the SS Camaro and the GT 500 only beat it by .1 of a second in the quarter. I think the weight is a little off on the new mustang...

I USED to subscribe to Motor Trend. After reading it a while, I realized they should have named it Chevy Trend. Don't believe everything they print. They new GT500 will hand the Camaro its a--!

I am not a Camaro hater, but I was behind a new one today and IMO it has one ugly huge ass end.
It dosen't even look like it belongs to the rest of the body on the car.
Seriously, It's the ugliest back end I have ever seen on any car.
