Default ccfl halos. some questions about them

so i got this from ebay yesterday, and they are supposed to be brighter than the ones that i already have the LED ones so i have one question, do they have the same connections??? like the cables and wires??

you will reuse the stock bulbs or just get the silverstars like i sent you the link for. As for the wiring, the bulb itself just pops right in from the stock unit. The tricky part is the halo itself. you need to wire it into the parking lights (turn signals). there are 3 wires in there, one of which has the power. wire it up to that one and the halos will come on with the parking lights. then you can turn on the bulb in the halo itself by pulling out the know like normal. there is a pretty through write up on AM that i used and did it in about 1.5-2 hours taking my time with a helping hand.

Removing the grill is the hardest part btw

I actually have the halos installed already I just bougth the ones you have now, so I was wondering if the plugs were the same as the led halo wires themselves

And yeah the grill needs like quadruple screwdriver action... It's really a toughie removing it

CCFL halos are powered by an inverter. LED halos don't use an inverter. The connections won't be the same. I had LED halos on my 82 corvette but I've since removed them. My stang has CCFL halos.

The CFFL that i have are nice. they give off a nice amount of light and function very well as a cool DRL
