just wanted to post some pix of my latest installment.so here are some under hood before(when i got the car) to what it is now. and changing the cam covers is not hard, just a little time consuming.

Those valve covers look great! Did you buy them, or paint them yourself?

they are the FRPP ones. did not want the car down while waiting for powder coat,so i just got another set to save time.now if i can get off butt and get the 2010 front air defector/diffuser thingy on but id know that will be more time consuming.so much to do, not enough time

how hard was it to align the gasket under the valve cover again? i have been wanting to do this for some time but haven't because someone told me the gasket has a time span on its life if you let it sit too long.

the new covers came with gaskets on them on the covers,already installed.the cover have a groove that holds the gasket very well, but don't forget the 2 spots to silicone on each cover. for those keeping the stock covers it might not be a bad idea to re-tighten them. my stockers were just starting to seep a little and that bolt was not the tight one.and i strongly suggest looking up TACOBIILL write ups on doing this! I am sure his write ups have saved many here who DYI there mods
