Unfortunately, my IQ dropped as soon as I left his office or lab, and by the time I hit the parking lot, I must have lost 50+ points.

I have no clue as to whether I am "smart" by any definition, my point was the news report stated that "if you own a Ford, you are likely to be non-college educated....." and I own a Ford or two and have a college degree (or two). The report did not state Ford owners are "dumb," just that it is likely they do not have a college education.

I agree, some of the "smartest" folks I know have little if any college degrees....while some of the presumed college grads (i.e many politicians and military officers), can be some of the biggest dumba$$es out there.

I do want to note, I do not agree with the news report, I was just passing on what I saw and heard.

I'll agree with the general premise that Mustang owners are smarter than the average bear. Perhaps we're not as smart in the same ways that the general public considers 'smart', but why should that matter? The practical application of brains = Mustangs. And we all know that not every car on the road is, or will be, a Mustang, therefore they aren't as smart as we are!

Is that how the argument goes?

Not even Steven Hawking or Einstein could figure that one out. Why do you think his hair went white and stood up like that? From pulling it out after dealing with women.

The writer must've been a Honda owner.

I drive a Mustang cause it is a Ford Muscle Car( American), no BS computer made in Tiawan that I have to have a PHD to work on. However, that being said My wifes aunt and uncle and their daughter are engineers and collectivley cound'nt find their arses with a road map. I have some education and still choose to drive Fords cause I am old fashion and I like the fact that Ford is still Ford and isn't Government Motors, or some other BS title and I have always had better luck with Fords. I have driven a lot of vehicles and I always go back to Ford!

my theory: All those japanese drive hondas, and i believe they have the best college graduate ratio of all the country, and China come on, theres more english speakers in china college graduates, than in america.

Ford Rocks, based only on the f150 and the Mustang

That's weird because the report I heard, it said Chevy, not Ford. The reason being that Chevys were rated very poorly in reliabliity, comfort and fuel economy, therefore anyone nbuying them obviously did not check the internet and was therefore uneducated and not internet savvy.

In 2005, Consumer Reports rated the 2004 Mustang as the highest rated car made in America, for reliability. Twice as reliable as the Honda Accord and the Toyota Camry (which have slipped badly in recent years).

I gots a college edumacation too. I figger my Nobel Prize for Hoping For Peace should be on the way soon. I writes purty good too so I wants two for Litrichure.
