Since I first saw the Eleanor knock off body kit I thought it was the coolest thing I've seen. But now some years later I am surprised that I have only seen one in person and only a few on the internet. Since I like to dream about doing things to my car I find a complete body kit at CJs Pony Parts and its over 8 grand!!! I'm not sure originality is the right word here but do you think its the lack of originality or the price that's the reason for so few?

well cervini makes the body kit. the reason its probbaly 8 grand is that it is probably kit that comes with the rims and side exhaust system. you can get the kit with out the rims and side exhaust kit for around 3-4k but i personally would also get the side exhaust kit.

I didn't get the front fascia on mine because it is a bit low for a DD...
but i'm sure price has something to do with it too.

I paid $3400 in 2006 for the Cervini kit (minus the rims). That included: Hood, Front bumper & lights, side exhaust/skirts, ducktail and rear valance.

It cost another 3k to have it painted and installed with the stripes.

So yes, cost I'm sure has something to do with it.

I have seen 4 others around here over the past 3+ years, and seldom see them as it is.
