Default 20'' Rims on 2006 4.0 Mustang

I am about to get some 20'' Rims for my 2006 Mustang but I do not want to pay the extra money to lower the car after the rims are put on. Can anyone post a picture of a mustang with 20'' rims that hasn't been lowered to give me an idea of what it will look like? Will it look way to tall? give me some advice, thoughts, and oppinions.

Do you have a blown up picture you can post jay so I can see what it looks like? Is the difference extremely noticeable?

Givants I do not have a specific style of rim that I am looking at as I am still open to which style im going to get but I may get something with similar style as one of these two.

um man people tend to say the ride doesnt change much but for me i didnt care for it ...i noticed the steering wheel would shimmey at certain speeds and i can feel every bump..ny 20 's were road forced balanced and had no issues but yet the wheel shook sometimes..I'm a very anal person and everything little bothers me ,so i put the stockers back on and 0 issues now...i might try 19 's in the future,at least there is more sidewall on a 19 inch tire.....every one is different though you might not notice anything and love them..whatever you decide good luck....i just know one thing for sure i definately miss the look and compliments i use to get...

It looks good man. I dont think I will need to get it lowered if mine looks like that. I dont think I wana go with the bullet style or simple 5 star style though. Im thinking more of something with like 12 bars or soomething....

Oh and what size tire is that cobra? 255/35/20? The guy I am buying from is giving me the option between 225/35/20, 245,35,20 and 255,35,20. which is the best?

I think those rims are hideous. If you are dead set on 20" I would go with Saleen or Shelbys

i had my sixer... may it be in a good home now... with 20" using stock spring for alil. it doesnt look that bad to be honest but it looks amazing once its lowered. its def def def worth the money but ull be fine without them for a while. u wont look outrageous or be noticable to the novice. ur rear end will up slightly but i love the 20" rims. But u should look into lowering it, american muscle sells good spring kits that will make ur car look great

What looks cool has alot of tradeoffs...consider what others are saying and I agree
1) The car rides handles/terrible, it's not engineered for 20s
2) You will alter the factory camber/caster, not good
3) You will have an ongoing need for very expensive tires
4) You will raise the effective rear gear ratio slowing your car in acceleration
I'd recommend keeping the factory rims and using your 20 money for the lowering and upgrading of the suspension..we say this because we've all been through it..."a wise man learns from his mistakes, a wiser man learns from others mistakes"

the handleing is completely on what rim u buy. The rims I put in acutally cut out weight and the ride wasnt noticably different.

If he goes somewhere legit not like a local tire shop that knows exactly what there doing you wont have 90% of those problems.

If your gonna do it, just do it right or U WILL have those problems. also id remember not to get some super flashy rims, its a mustang dont make it look like a charger. Personally mine are black with a red lip for my dark candly apple red. they are KMC's. Love them

Might I ask why you don't want to lower the car? I would suggest to at least lower the back with Roush springs. Thats what I did. The springs are fairly inexpensive (~$100?) and you can put those on yourself.
