Default Dropped the stang off today! =)

Well since im not home for another 17 days cause of college, had my dad drop the stang off at Injected Engineering in Atlanta GA today. They took the keys and said the next time I drive it, itll have 450 hp and drive like a winner.

Were putting in:

-Whipple HO kit with a few of their own modifications. (polishedl, gotta look sexy)
-Maximum Motorsports "sports box" suspension kit
-upper and lower control arms
-radar detector/ laser jammer

Were expecting the car to be putting 450 hp to the pavement and really corner like a champ. This is the first major performance mod I've done (dont really count CAI or lowering springs)

Ill be getting my new and improved stang back on the 21st just before I come home from the Naval Academy to burn some rubber on the track! Sadly Ill only be home for 4 days before reporting back but then the car is going right back to injected for a face lift.

The facelift

-complete roush body kit
-roush exhaust (not like i get alot of options, debating on off road or not
- leather racing seats red on black
- custom interior red on black accents
- redoing the carbon fiber dash, putting in better quality stuff. (not happy with the crummy dash kit i got for 200 bucks, Using American hydrocarbon parts this time)
- black racing stripes
-new sound system (not sure what im putting in yet)

All of this will be done before xmas when Ill get to drive it for a wonderful 3 weeks before putting the car cover back on. If you couldnt guess, i am so excited about this. After getting accepted to the Naval Academy earlier this year my dad decided that all of my college fund should be mine. Most of it is invested but we decided to spend some of it to make a really special car that I would have for a very long time.

Really looking foreward to coming home to this car, and seeing my friends and family. Havent been home since June 20th. didnt have any contact with the outside world for the first two months either. Sorry if im rambling but im just that excited.

Also some of you senior members... you know who you are. if you have any other ideas for mods, id love to hear them. Im not going to rebuild the engine til im a junior and get my 0% intrest 32k gov loan so turning up the boost will have to wait, but im really interested on what you think. love picking your brains.

Thanks Anderson

Nah. Most people here would think you were crazy if you did that.
Some drag radials might help put all that power to the pavement.

What good would it be to get all that done and never drive it?

Get it and drive it over to West Point and see what happens.

haha no, cars are ment to be driven Gary. Shell be spending 99% of her time in a nice warm garage while im at the Academy but when im home shes gonna be driven like shes ment to be.

Ive got some super sticky 10" tires to put that HP to the ground not too worried about that. Wondering if gears are that important. im running 3.55's i think theyre pretty good for F/I. not a huge difference in 3.73 and 3.55 but wonder if the torque is worth it.

Funny how i havent even gotten the S/C in and im already looking around at some forged parts . Itll be nice to have a semi sleeper stang for 4 days cause the next time ill drive her shes gonna look all flashy and hot... not quite as good looking as that shebly but i do fancy the roush kit!

As sticky as you think those tires are they are still going to take a beating. Leave the 3.55s in until you get some stick time on the Whipple. Im sure you will quickly see how easy it is to rip through your first two gears.

Injected does body work? Sounds like a nice one-stop-shop spot.
