Default Replacing the radio

Howdy,

I just bought my first Mustang (05 Mustang coupe) that came with the Shaker 500 system. For now the speakers are fine, however I want to replace the head unit with a double din unit. One of the many reasons for replacing the head unit was because I don't like how the original unit is laid out. Plus I want Sirius radio (I had it in my last car as an exterior unit with cords) and GPS navigation without the cords. I plan on letting a pro do the installation. Yet, when I went to one shop that does it they were pushing the Pioneer line of radios. I've read some of the other posts on double din after market units, but I had some questions as which Double Din units were better, how did Sirius work/feel, how did you set up the sat radio receiver, and how does the gps feel compared to a regular gps.

I'm looking for suggestions as to which I should go for and which I should steer away from.

Some of the units I've looks at so far was:
* JVC KW-NX7000BT
* JVC KW-NT1
* Kenwood DNX6140
* There may be others that I haven't found yet.

It looks like the JVC 7000 is the better looking of the 3

For those of you who do have Sirius/XM radios in you car, how did you mount the antenna? Did you mount it outside or inside? If outside how did it look on your car. If inside, how was the reception?

I am asking as I am trying to come up with an idea of what I want to do. Have any suggestions or radios I haven't thought off?
