Which do you guys think? When my 05 comes in I was seriously considering throwing on some WHITE stripes, like my newly added avatar.

Ford's stripes only come in 2 colors, black or silver, atleast thats what it says in the 05 brochure I picked up the otherday. However they dont go down the front grill or the trunk either, they're just on the upper portion of the vehicle.

My qts:

How do you think the silver would look on legend lime?

Do ya'll think stripes like the ones on my avatar would look better than ford's stripes that only are on top?

And does anybody have the price on the ford stripes? I havent been able to find them. They're not on the website it gives in the brochure.

If you want stripes, yellow/black looks the best imo...followed by red/black.

Well my car is legend lime. I think that color just screams classic. I passed/missed a few deals on 65/66 fastbacks to get my 05 'fastback' and I wanna make it look classic. So I'm definately stick'n with the green/white combo. Just need input on the stripes.

Personally I like the white ones that you had on the pic...The Ford ones seemed too thin, and they didnt flow down the front of the hood/bumper.

Try this link..this is the Mustang that Motor Trend tested..now it isnt a production model (dif wheels, different looking intake on engine, etc) but it has the stripes your looking for. I dont think those stripes ate the ones Ford offers...

Yeah I've seen those before and thats what I like, big fat racing stripes top to bottom. Thanks for the link, now I can save those.

I also really like the Legeng Lime color but I really think the black stripes would look better, IMO. Regard;ess of color I think the stripes must go all the way down, front and back. Good luck!!

Yeah dollarbill I too think the strips should go all the way down. I think it looks meaner. I've seen that picture, thats how I got the idea to make white stripes using the paint program... look I used the same picture too. However I changed the cars front grill to make it look like a V6, and removed the spoiler . I think black on this car would just be too prominent and take away from the Legend Lime itself.

I vote for the white stripes (on the car, not the band...) - think they look very sharp.
