Thanks for the painter. It helped me make the decision to get a set.

However, does anyone know what the width and spacing on the painter represent?

The stripes in the painter look a little too wide for my taste.

I am thinking about 1-1/2" spacing and 8" stripes. Is this in the ball park?

Does anyone think that it could be a viable idea to have stripes painted on a 05 gt legend lime w/ med. parchment interior + iup (I am sure my wife doesn't think so...) ?

I'd love to have stripes on my car, but I sort of think that it's near to impossible to find a good color combination for a legend lime gt...though I like the best the idea of legend lime + dark highland green (PS: is it an official Ford color ? Forgive my ignorance but it's the first time I see it anywhere...) stripes, what do you guys think ?

Also, does anyone know where I could get a good quality job like this done in MA ? In case I would decide to pursue this project...

Legion681, I almost got a Legend Lime Green. I would go with the Mineral gray stripes!

Sure, check out the guys at Kearns' Collision in Carver. They do really nice work! Once the weather gets better, we should start looking for NE Mustang meets!

Re. stripes: mineral grey stripes on l.lime, that's an interesting idea, I will think about if for sure. And thanks Dave for the telling me about Kearns Collision !

I'd love to go to a Mustang meet in NE...I will be in paradise among all those Mustangs, let me tell you !

You got a nice car man (seems the same as mine, same options I mean), Silver is a great color for sure. I looked all over the place for mine, I couldn't find a Legend Lime GT Premium w/ IUP ANYWHERE in MA...until I found it in Raynham...
I almost couldn't believe it ... I had to ask the salesman three times, before I decided he was telling me the truth (and on top of that, he was asking for msrp...I had been in a few other dealership...some were asking up to 5k over msrp...)...ehehe...
Well, the struggle's over, now we have our beloved 05s !

Attached is a pic of my Torch Red with White Stripes stang. I paid $1900 at a custom paint shop. They are 14" Wide with a 2.5" space between. They did a great job. You can't feel the stripes and they look like part of the factory paint.

I checked out the decals and didn't care for them. You could feel them on the paint.
