I was about to plop down money on black when I came across this thread and saw what the satin silver looked like and bame that was it. I like the large center strip with the two small ones flanking it.

Default By far the best paint job I have seen

C.S.

I own a Windveil blue gt and your beautiful paint job has convinced me to do the same on mine. I am considering a metalic silver on the blue to bring out the interior colors of the aluminum upgrade. I first thought the silver satin color would be nice, but since I saw the color on a stang, I thought the metalic would compliment the exsisting color.

My compliments and admiration on a job well done. This is a fine example of getting what you paid for.

I checked out the decals and didn't care for them. You could feel them on the paint.

Good luck.

Well...what I personally like among the color combinations for my Lime stang would be:
1) Dark Highland Green (I like it the best by FAR. Also...do you know if this color is officially available from Ford ? Because I have never seen it before, at least for the stang...I seem to remember it was available for the f150 a few years ago, if I am not wrong.) 2) Gold 3) Satin Silver...and I like the best the 2nd stripe version shown in the stripe painter.
But anyway it seems like an exercise in style, seen that my wife practically begged me not to have any stripe done on my car...So I am not sure if I'll do anything about it...unless someone wants a wife (this would solve the stripe issue, real easy !): low maintenance, cute and young. Eheheheheheheheehhehehe...
(just joking of course)

The 2003 & 2004 F-150s had Dark Highland Green (color code = PX) as an option. My 2003 F-150 is that color with silver metalic two tone. I'm very happy with the colors. The silver is low on the body and doesn't show dirt and the dark green has a very deep shine.

I guess that this color is definitely available for someone to have some stripes painted, then. Am I right ?

Yeah, I would think very available. Before you get it painted though, I woudl ask them to see some of their work on similar projects. If they are good they will be more than willing to "show off" their work.

It absolutely makes sense to me, thanks.

Default stripes

I'm getting the satin silver with the red interior. Does anyone have any suggestions for stripe colors? Any opinions would be great. Thanks.

Black or Red !

Black would look good against the silver, but the red would bring out the boldness of the red leather.

I think the red would look nice too, but my husband wants to do black.

I have a sonic blue on order. Was originally going to go with the white stripes for the classic blue/white look, but after seeing real photos of the sonic with white I think it sticks out a little too much for my tastes, so I'm going with the silver for a little more understated look. That is once my car is built

Hey guys, have mine in the shop right now. Left them a camera to take pics throuout the process. I am putting on the old GT 350 & GT 500 tapered stripes with a 1/2" pin stripe. 1" gap in the center, the stripe, 1/2" gap, and then a 1/2" stripe on the outside. Stripe is the same color as the grey bullett wheels. Mustang is Torch Red with interior upgrade. If pictures size is not too large I will post them.

I'd go with the silver, white, or grey. Just my opinion, though, your car
