Default Do you like 05 Steering wheel?

I have an 05 GT and I don't particularly like the steering wheel.

I don't like the cheap looking metal covers on the spokes of the steering wheel. One of my metal spoke covers seems to coming loose - in a few months I expect it to come off.

Furthermore I find the fat spokes of the steering wheel to get in the way of steering. I personally like to feel leather all the way around and the metal covers extend all the way to steering wheel edges which interruprs the leather feel.

I know I'm picky but it irritates me

Mine looks good - not coming apart. I think it would have been better to taper the spokes - fat near the center, then *slightly* tapered to be narrower at the wheel. But it really doesn't bother me the way it is.
