Tracking your Car Build and Shipping Dates

I called the 800# today to check on my vechicle. It was bucked and an ETA of 2/28 last Friday. Now I'm told the my car is on the shipping ramp in flatrock with a quality hold and I was not told when to expect delivery. Anyone know whats going on with this/

The dealer number is a letter and then 5 numbers, X#####. When you dial the automated system and it asks you for the dealer number, drop the letter and only say the 4 numbers.

The problem is that the Q is the 3rd character of a 6 digit dealer number.

Ok, dropped the Q and got in. Still clean and unscheduled as of Feb 11.

anyone know if the system gets updated for all orders at once? mines been stuck at as of feb 4 for a few days now...

I just checked the system and now I have a builddate of feb 21st. It was the 28th of feb.

Order jan 25th. serialized 3 days later, recieved vin from fred week later, and now the new build date!!Feb 21st

I called earlier today and the computer said "as of Feb 11" just called again (getting obsessive) and it said "as of Feb 14" -- still C&U. I ordered on Jan 5. Does Ford pull and serialize by region or do the options affect order? I am just getting anxious to start keeping my new car clean. It's great to hear that someone out there had there order pulled and serialized so quickly!!! It looks like some people have been waiting a LONG time.

Don't feel bad. I ordered Dec 1st and have been clean & unscheduled since Jan 7th. Ford put my order to a priority 2 and supposedly the Ford rep has told my salesman, mine will get built the first or second week of March, which I guess means I might see my GT Vert in early April.....

Your ahead of me in line. I ordered 11-29-04 and still no build date. I'm C&U, not yet serialized as of 2-11-05. Anybody been waiting longer than me?

Hey KD05GT-What sad story are you getting from your salesman? I would be happy w/ a call and a sad tale about the GT I have on order. I do know that my dealer has had the same sad V6 sitting out front for at least 3 months. I saw it being test driven 4x's the first few visits to this dealer. It must have some miles on it by now. 11-16-04

Sonny, I don't have a "sad tale" but here is what the dealer told me last Saturday: "Don't worry Ford is going to ramp up production starting this week." I said "I'll believe it when I see it".
