I got a call from my dealer over the weekend. The 06 GT I ordered on 3/4 was cancelled. Ford told my dealer they were starting to build the 07s this week. I went with a GT/CS. Order should go in today. Will see how long it takes to get it built...given the 5% availability. My dealer is pushing it though so could it have changed? Will let you know.

In a big way you are lucky your '06 was cancelled, by the time you would have receied it, it would be one model year old (Big Depreciation Hit).
From what I see around, there are many '06's still on the lots not being sold (GT's and V6'). Looks as though demand is down, and not like the '05 demand. So it might be you have a good chance of getting the GT/CS faster then expected. GT-CS will be limited, and sought after in the future, good choice.
I ordered the Redfire with Crimson interior, (IUP, 64W, GT Appearance Package, etc., etc.) but my dealer told me that the seats will not be all Crimson (red) in '07's but Black with Crimson (Red) inserts, which I would prefer any way. I knowthe GT-CS has that seating design but not with the Red.
Well we will see, my was placed several days ago, accepted, and awaiting the VIN#. It would be interesting to see how many total stangs they will build, in '05 it was like 192,000, '06 unknow, '07 to be determined as to expectations.

I know the '07 order banks are open and orders are being taken and accepted last 2 weeks.

Yes! the price guide is out. Give me a call and I can tell you the retail price on any Mustang and options. Also I have been taking orders for 07' and they can be delivered around 8 weeks to your nearest Ford dealership or pick it up here.
Evil Robot Lady is not giving the order status for the last 2 days, she keep handing you over to the analyst. Does any one know what is going on?
Try using your Order Number instead of the VIN. I've been able to check mine every day.
