Hi GTEUPP, No I haven't heard from the dealer in a week. I am going to call him today, and get the order#, and his dealer#. Then I will call the automated phone system, and see what's up. I'll post as soon as I get any news. Is this the phone connection in which you have to pretend to work for the dealer in order to get info?

Well I called the dealer. I asked for the order #, and dealer #, and he said he couldn't give me the dealer #??? Since we ordered it from him on a Sat. I'm sure the order didn't get placed until Mon. so we didn't get a copy of the order with those #'s. I kind of understand why Ford might discourage this. Just think if everyone who has a Ford product ordered used that phone system. It probably would be over loaded to the max. That might be the reason it's set up for dealer use only.
Now the good news! It was ordered 3/10, got the VIN 3/17, scheduled to build 4/2 - 4/4. E.T.A. 4/16. Holy Hell that seems real fast from all the accounts I've been reading on this forum. Of course we have to take all these dates with a grain of salt, as they are just guesstaments. However I do believe this is dealer is up front, and truthful.
I don't know if this is place to post this or not, but it is regards to build types and such. I was wondering how you find out what you car is in relationship to others out there with the specific options as yours. For example, I want to see how many Mustangs out there have the exact same specs as mine, right down to the options choice and spoiler delete. Like, is my car 1 of 37, or 1 of 3009, or 1 of 1...you know, something like that. Do I have to contact the dealer or Ford something? Any help would be appreciated.

I am surprised at these dates, I ordered mine mid February and was told that delivery would happen the first or second week of April.
I called the dealer a week ago and all I could get was that a VIN number was assigned and nothing else.
I am getting hungry for my stang!

I was also supprised at the dates. Do you know your'e priority #? My order had a priotity 10. That might explain the difference?? Of course my dealer wouldn't give me his dealer number so that I could use the Ford automated phone system to check. I guess it is set up for dealer use only. So all the dates are coming from dealer info. I hope he not trying to B.S. me. I've had a real good feeling about him, and many good references. I actually hope it is a week later as we will be out of town that week. Good Luck!
