I am not sure of the priority number, I ordered the car on the x-plan and was thinking that x-plan would not only get you a good price but also a priority spot in line. My dealer is not that big so that may add to the time it takes for me to get the car.

I ordered with the X-Plan and PUSHED my dealer into really trying to get a high priority number. I had a priority number of 8. I ordered mine on Feb. 23rd or so, order went to Ford that week. Got built last week and I was recently told it would be here by the end of the week. I've been hearing that GT's are taking longer for some reason.

The dealer I used was also a small dealer in Healdsburg CA. 90% of their sales are trucks (wine country). I don't know if that affected a Mustang order.
I would not believe anything the dealer would tell me
You have the Order# along with the dealer# on the contract that the dealer gave yea when you ordered the car.
Call the Fords 800# and type in the numbers and see if the dealer is telling you the truth.........
Its not a big deal to call the 800#
And if the 800# tells yea nothing about your order you know the dealer was screwing with yea............
You are better getting the Gt at INVOICE of a ford dealers lot,that would be no problem at all if you want to look around.JT
Spoke to the dealer today, said it should be in by tax day. We will see!

Talked to my dealer today, as I've been out of town for a couple of days. He tells me the ETA has changed from 4/16 to 4/23. That sounds more realistic for an order date of 3/10. That actually works out better for me as I will be in AZ. on the 16th.

Thought I would update you on my order. Have been out of town for a couple of weeks. We were driving home today, about 150 miles from home my wifes cell phone rings. It's the dealer telling us the Mustang is in the dealership on a truck. HOLLY COW!! He says the will unload it, and have it ready for pickup tomorrow!! YAHOO!
