I GOT IT!! Picked up the '07 GT Prem. Cpe., Redfire, Auto, IUP, Appearance Pkg, and 18" Polished Alum. Wheels yesterday afternoon. What a beautiful car! It actually rides, and handles better than the '97 Cobra I had. I like the way you sit down into the car. The auto. is smooth and very reactive. I'm very stoked!! Will post pictures after I borrow my daughters digital camera. Thanks to you all for the many words of encouragement during my wait, which was very short compared to some (4 weeks, 3 days).

I too had a '97 Cobra (vert), hands down this car is WAY better all around.
I totally agree. I think the 07 handles better, and the chassis seems more rigid. I fell as though I'm sitting in a cockpit as opposed to sitting on the car as in the 97, however, I think the Cobra engine reved faster and seemed to have more torque and power, at least in the seat of the pants. Can I ask you about your sequential tail lights? Where did you get them, and how is the install, if you did it.

Everytime i call ERL (1 800 962 3746...option 2)....ERL gives me their busness hours and if i call during those hours, she puts me directly to an analyst.
Ordered my 08 Vapor GT on January 7th. Just received info from 1-800 number (pretended I was the sales rep) and have a build date of Feburary 18th with delivery to dealer on February 25th. That is a hell of alot quicker than my wait on my 06 which went from May 21st 05 until October 21st 05.
Hope I can sleep tonight!
