What kind of response do you see as you are driving your new stang?

I just got my Mustang three nights ago and I love it! Some people dont really look at it as i drive but then theres those people who just stare at it. I went to my girlfriends house and picked her up and as I was leaving some random neighbor asked if he could take pictures of the car! So naturally i said of course!

I've had my GT since December. Literally every day, for the first two months, a total stranger would come up and ask or comment about the car. Now it's more like every other day. Soon there will be so many on the road, the fascinations will subside.

But one of the best conversations came as I was sitting at a red light on the PCH in Oceanside. A patrol officer pulls up a long side me and says "I like the retro styling of the new mustangs" my response was "That’s one of the reasons I bought it." He then asks, "I see you got the GT... Is it fast"? Not knowing exactly how to respond to a question like that from a traffic cop, I simply replied "That's the other reason why I bought it." The light turned green and since I wasn’t about to race a cop, I made sure the Crown Vic was first off the line.

I have a yellow v6, with black stripes.

I get alot of comments from people at fast food places when im in line, the people taking my order will tell me Nice car. Have had that happen alot of times.

Then of course when your getting gas almost every time you can bet on someone saying something to you.

Then my favorite is some dumbass in a ricer that has rust all of the car, 3 differnt types of rims on the car, sounds as if there are holes in the muffler will come up and try to get me to race him. Or someone in like some piece of crap ugly late 80s camaro will try to race me.

Then a guy wanted to know what kind of body kit i put on the mustang, he thought it was a 2004.

This guy is ogling the car and asks me -- I swear -- where did I get the Kit to make this cool retro 69-70 Mustang. He couldn't believe me when I told him this was a production car. I show him the owners manual that its stock, and I think he's still in shock. That was the best one, by far.
