Hey all, just came across this forum when searching for upgrade ideas on the 05s. I have one on order and it cannot get here quick enough!!! The dealer either says 6-8 weeks or, most recently, it was held up because of the interior upgrade . . pffft!

At any rate, I read some of the posts here and knew I needed to register. I look forward to many discussions on all the great upgrades that are out.

Hello Everyone! I'm posting here for the first time as well.

Placed my order today! Looks like this.........

Satin Silver GT Premium
Dark Charcoal Int.
5 Speed Manual
Interior Upgrade Package
Active Anti-Theft
Side Airbags
X-plan pricing - approx. $ 25,500

Went with the standard GT wheels. The upgrade wheels looks almost exactly like the ones on my 2004 F-150 Lariat. I don't much care for them so I'll save a few dollars and put them towards mods. I'm pumped about it but my dealer says 6-16 weeks for delivery. I've ordered several new Fords in the past and I can't imagine it taking them 16 weeks to build anything! Even with the X-mas break and some short supply items. I think that they are just being careful about quoting me a time line but, come on, a ten week spread. Scary!
6-10 weeks seems to be the norm based what I'm reading here and on other forums. I'll try to be patient, but it won't be easy. It's been years since I've had something fun to drive and I can hardly wait!

Hey clem your Mustang is almost the same as the one I order, except I went with a Deluxe GT ,light graphite interior(no leather seats)and Shaker 500. I order it around the 17th of Nov. and was told mid Jan. delivery. I'm buying mine with the D-plan. If you isn't built before the holidays expect the delivery to be about two weeks long. So 6-10 weeks is more likely than 16 weeks.

Welcome to the both of you......This is a good site......and you should find much information that will help you make your car your own.
The wait is hard for sure. But these boards help pass the time.
My car is on a truck ...on it's way.......And I'm siked..can't wait.
It will be about 8 weeks for me.....for your reference..Order 10-18...Delivery date of next week.

As far as mods: I have the magnaflow catback exhaust coming this week...great deal on it.
And many more to follow. Although I got the upgraded rims ......I will probably change them also gonna get a new hood.
Heres a shot of the rims I like on a purple...and the hood I'm getting. I found a company going to start making the hood soon.

I order a new F-150 every two years and Ford cranks those out in 4 weeks. 8 weeks for my GT? I'll survive. In 16 weeks there will be 30 at every dealership.
