For any of you Texans looking for 6 cyl mustangs and can't find what you want, look in Austin! Yesterday I was just looking at Ford dealer inventories of zip codes I knew and was kinda surprised when I searched Austin and every dealer has at least 9 in thier inventory!!! All were 6 cyls. except for 3 GTs listed out of the 5 dealerships, so if your close to Austin they might have what your looking for. I dont know if that many mustangs for sale in one town is the norm, but after what i went through ordering one then finding one 100 mi. away and the norm here being maybe 10 in the whole state, I just found that many mustangs in one city amazing

It's the same situation in houston i pickedf up a 6cyl 05 mustang the first day i went looking the place i went to had 6 of them on the floor, while down the road they had a couple of GT's, for some reason Houston is getting them quick

I actually found a dealer with 18 6cyls. on hand but no GTs in Austin

Hey Legionaire, I am from Austin Texas, it appears that you are from Montana, what made you look in Austin for a Mustang or just check the dealers inventories. I have looked many days for a GT and finally gave up and ordered mine. It supposed is being built this week and hopefully I will have it by the the 21st as they said it is about 2 weeks for delivery. I am definately counting the days.

I looked there because it was a zip code I knew because my parents now live there and i was just looking around for what was where even though i already have mine

Got lots of GT's in the CLude/Lake Jackson area. (40 miles south of Houston)

You should check out Planet Ford in houston they are almost always stocked with at least three(GT's)

Driving from Dalls to Austin today, I spotted a white GT at the Ford dealership in Belton. I cannot confirm the 05 as a GT but it had the driving lights and spoiler, it's a little hard to tell at 70 MPH. If you are looking might want to call.
