Default Manual in V6

Has anyone even SEEN a V6 manual, at a dealer or on the road? As far as I can tell, they don't exist, even though of course they are supposed to be offered.

You must be hanging out with the wrong girls. Some of the girls I know would laugh at me if I was driving a V6 or an automatic.

I'm currently driving an 04 Auto, but I've ordered my 05 with a stick. Just the feeling of being able to "drive" my car makes it a no brainer.

Not to mention all the crap I took from my friends with manuals!

When you drive a stick you are more in tune with whats going on. You can't hold a cup of coffee, talk on the phone, apply makeup(or shave if your a guy...but then again ) or yel at your kids/friends in the back seat. Some days after a hard days work I wish I had a auto, but if I didn't have a stick I'd probably fall asleep. The new auto wish 5 gears are closer to the fuel mileage of manual trans because of more gear ratios available. The manual trans get slightly better mileage because the manual trans weights alot less than a auto.

Most of the girls i find are not into the whole car engine trans they don't care met one that actually cared.
calls my car the sapstang :\

But hopefully by the end of this year I'll have my Gt with a 5 spd.
I know the feeling of being made fun of people get in my car, hey Joe, where's the third pedal, JOE SOMEONE STOLE YOUR CLUTCH!

Joe this isnt you're car it doesnt have a shifter. I don't give a **** anymore what they say. I found the mustang it was a good price for what it had, so i took it. no biggie. eyah everyone else had enough money to buy new cars in 5 spds. and make up crazy numbers and have older siblings or mechanics do their rice modding for them. I enjoyed my car. but soon I will have the money to get a uicker car and it's going to beat all those lil 4 cyl rice mobiles up.. and Im sick of my one friend with an RSX type S with "race" headers timing belt CAI and fart exhaust has a 5 second 0-60 and a mid 13 quatermile run. when stock 0-60 is like 7.1 there is no way on god earth those mods took 2 seconds off his time.

Im sick of it.
Just a few more months... few more months... I'll have the money to buy my own

take it easy 3.8,...you are getting a little too defensive for someone who claims that it doesn't matter...

The vast majority of women really don't care, but where the stigma exists, it is against the auto plain and simple. Again, my wife just thinks that manuals are more manly than an auto, and frankly I agree. I'll say that even knowing plenty of macho-dudes that drive autos (one who is an ex-Army Ranger who has 3 corvettes,...all autos). We joke about it all the time, he has Army buddies who tell him that he has to turn in his tab and jump wings because he drives a sports car with an auto trans.

Opinions differ, and jokes will be made. It's nothing personal, just an opinion and a stigma. Just like the V6 vs. V8 thing.

Default '05 Auto V-6

This is the best auto-trans I have ever driven (including the auto-stick on the crossfire). I like the control that comes with a manual, but this almost negates that! This tranny is almost perfectlly balanced with the engine (at least the 4.0 V-6). Try one, you will be surprised.
