Okay, the order for my Stang was just put in on 1/18. Obviously there is a HOLD on production with the IUP, which I got, till February 1st. I'm assuming once they start producing them again on that day, it should take 6 - 8 weeks am I correct????

I talk to some other dealer that screwed me a couple of times already so I cancelled my other order and went to another dealer to place a new one, when I went back to get my money back for my deposit, the other dealer with my old order mentioned that now it will probably take 4 months for me to get my car, does anybody think that is true???

Some of these guys got theres in 8 weeks with th IUP,some are waiting months depending on order dates.Some guys orderd the same month,but gottem months apart...I know...it doesnt answer your question but just figured I'd give ya quick heads up........took me 10 weeks.......It came in today,there preppin it.....took off work tommoroe to go picker up!

Thanks!I'll tilt my head down a bit to make sure the lugnuts are nice and tight ......................they'll think I'm stealin the car the way im gonna leave that dealer!........dealer exit has ........4 open lanes..............oneway!

Hey AFM members, new to this forum (obviously).

Anyways, ordered my Sonic Blue GT with Shaker 1000, IUP, Active Theft, Dk Charcoal leather on 1-12-02. It's been a week, it's killing me already. Dealer told me about three months for it, which puts me right into spring! Which is good timing around New England. But I have been reading all the threads about the IUP, My Color problems, and getting a little nervous. I dont mind waiting the 12 weeks they told me, but I dont want to be on hold forever. Anyone wanna venture a guess on if 12 weeks is an accurate time table? I'm hoping it is.

I've always wanted a mustang since I could drive, and can't wait for it to arrive!

I've been waiting since Nov. 17th, thats 9 weeks and counting. I was told earlier this week by the salesman that my car was scheduled to be built on Jan. 31st. By the way the dealer will leave your name on the order list so they can get the car quicker then normal channels. Customer orders are placed ahead of dealer stock orders, many dealers get around this by inventing fake names for customer orders.

Alright ladies and gents, here is the deal. I ordered my 05 Sonic Blue GT with the Shaker 500, IUP, Dark Charcol interior, Active Anti-Theft, wheel locks, side airbags on Nov.5, 2004. After getting story after story from the dealershup, I found out my Mustang was built on January 11,2005. It was shipped via railcar on or around the 14th of January. I was able to track the railcar my Mustang was on by calling CSX and Northfolk and tracked it from Cincinnati, to Louisville KY, to Chattanooga TN, to Hapeville, GA. It made it to Hapeville on Friday, January 21, 2005 and will be at the dealership in Georgia either Saturday, January 22 or Monday, January 24. Friday, January 28, 2005 would of been 12 weeks. I was told by the dealership when I first ordered mine that it COULD take up to 12 weeks to get it and not the 6 to 8 weeks it would normally take to get a car the was not in such HIGH demand. Looks like just over 11 weeks. Funny thing is I sold my truck and have been riding around in a rent-a-car for several days now. So bottom line is all of you that ordered an 05 Mustang, you are going to be waiting anywhere between 10 and 14 weeks from what I hear now. SORRY!!!! Seems like I have been waiting years instead of months.
