2005 Sound system issues * H E L P *

Am I the only one experiencing Shaker 500 sound system static/skips/no-play/rewind defects on CD's/mp3's???

It doesn't happen all the time and not always on the same CD, however, it does occur about 40% of the time when in the car.

I'm curious if i'm the only one or if other have this issue. If others do have the same problem, what did you do or do you suggest to do in order to correct the problem??
