Default Pics of my new 18" wheels and tires

I finally had a snow free day here in Cleveland so I took some pictures of my 18x9.5" kazara KZA wheels and 284/40/18" Pirellis P-Zero Neros. For those of you wandering how wide of a tire you can fit in the front of the 05 mustang, the 285s fit perfectly. I have about 3/8" clearance between the tire and the strut. The outside edge of the tire sets about 1/2" inside the edge of the fenderwell. They do not rub at all even with the wheels fully locked to either side. I have alot of pictures of these wheels on mywebsite if anyone is interested.

You have those big meat in front as well? I'm sure it stiffened up the steering didn't it? Our GT is my wife's daily driver.........she's agreed to getting bigger tires, but if the steering is too stiff.........well, you know the drill.

They do look good, that's for sure.

looks great. 2 problems with the really wide tires up front though. the first thing is the tracking. you'll notice the car following all the grooves in the road, its hard to keep the car straight. the second thing is, if you plan on lowering your car you may have some fitment issues. for all i know the '05 has way more room in the fenders. so i really couldn't tell ya. but right now, it looks bad ass!

Car looks good, I am getting the Steeda Ultra Lite 1, 18 9.5'' wheels for my 05 gt and was wondering if I was going to be able to run 285s in the front.
I have not lowered it yet so hopefully there will be no rubbing when I do.
If anyone has 285s on the front and its lowered maybe you could leave us some feed back.
