Default Rand 13.5 In The 1/4 Mile What Next?? Help

Hey Guys I Went To The Track This Friday And Ran An Impressive 13.5 In The 1/4 Mile. I Have Added A C&l True Cold Air Intake And Reflashed The Compueter With The Diablosport Programmer With The Custom Tune For The C&l Intake. Now All You Guys Out There Who Have Experience What Should I Do Next? I Need To Buy The Next Mod That Will Be Worth The Money To Get It Quicker. By The Way I Raced A Brand New Pontiac Gto 400hp And Well The Mustang Beat It By 1.6 Seconds In The 1/4 Twice.

So the GTO ran a 15.1?

Next time I see a goat in my F150 I'm going to race 'em! Seriously...something must have been wrong with the GTO. You sure it wasn't a Grand Am!

I vote for the x-pipe/exhaust.

I vote for gears, 4.10 or 4.30 even. I would be very interested in the results.
I've read that a 4.10 gear would still be okay for a daily driver with highway cruise at about 2500 RPM.
For the low price of under $200 plus labor, it would cut your ET's for shure.

I wonder what your time would be if you removed your seats?

I've heard of the '05 getting a 12s 1/4 mile run

Removing the spare tire and weight from the rear of the car is not the answer on stock suspension. The extra weight helps weight transfer to the rear causing the tires to bite harder. I have run faster times with an 80 pound bag of sand in the trunk! Thats why there are special drag shocks that give faster for more weight transfer. I don't think the tail high stance of the 05 helps traction at all. I bet when I put the eibachs that lower the rear of the car an extra 1/2 inch will help. There is a reason why the guys at the pure stock drags fill their spare tires with water. The tech inspector won't see it and it will add 100 pounds to the rear behind the axle where you need it.

Were you running the 91 0r 94 octane tune?

I ran the Diablo 91 octane C&L tune last night and my best run was a 13.523 @ 105.184 with a 2.147 60ft.
I could have done better but I shifted into 4th before I crossed the line.
On later runs I kept it in 3rd and got a 106.202mph trap speed but I didn't have good traction off the line.
These runs were done at night on cold asphalt with spare tire and 1/2 a tank of gas.
I didn't even check the tire pressure since I bought the car.
